Welcome to the front line, as they say. As an Account Executive in the FMCG industry, you'll be the face and voice of your company for your clients.
In this setting, account management involves everything from sales to customer service and business development. You'll support the overall service of a portfolio of accounts on a daily basis, ensuring every one of them is profitable – all whilst making sure the clients are happy. You'll problem solve, negotiate, drive sales and increase revenue. You'll listen, advise and smile too. And, if you're ambitious, you'll build the kind of relationships that get you noticed for all the right reasons.
Do it right and you can progress quickly. With commercial acumen, exceptional communication skills and a talent for delivering growth on budget, you'll be looking at National Account Manager and Director positions in the not too distant future.
